The City of Florence is offering reimbursement of up to approximately $1,000 for qualified businesses that purchase heating devices for outdoor dining.
Interested business owners must call City Hall prior to purchasing heating devices to discuss the devices they plan to purchase and where they will be placed.

The Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments (UAACOG) has announced the termination of their Recycling Program, effective October 7, 2020.
While UAACOG recycling bins have been removed, individuals may still contact the entities listed in the UAACOG press release for information on recycling services.
We are pleased to announce that in an effort to increase our services to our citizens, we are implementing increased hours for our City Hall. This will be on a trial basis and will be assessed in the future, but effective July 27, our new hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We feel that increasing our hours is one way to better serve the needs of the citizens of Florence.
As of September 4, 2020, we require inspection of your tank every time you load funds onto bulk water cards. This is to ensure the presence of the required six-inch air gap for each tank using our fill station. If we are unable to inspect your tank, the spout is not mounted, or if the spout has to be manually held above the tank when filling, we will not load funds.
