From the Desk of the Chief
Our mission is simple. The Florence Police Department works to maintain a safe community in which to visit, live, work, and for our children to play. We as a Department value respect towards everyone; and our commitment to service, teamwork, integrity and professionalism. Each day we work with our citizens to build trust, so to better understand issues and enhance community policing within our city. We as officers, will adapt and evolve utilizing a participative management style to maintain trained and disciplined personnel employees. As a department, we value and respect the accomplishments made by those that came before us, those that are with us, and those who will come after us, because our community and employees are our most valued asset.
